On December 26, 2019, Doncic signed a multi-year deal with Jordan brand, which saw him headline the Air Jordan 36, before being awarded that rarest of gifts: a signature sneaker. Just in time for the 2022-23 season the Luka 1 dropped, and the Slovenian sensation is now officially one of just a handful of players in the past 20 years to sport a Jordan signature shoe of his own.
Prior to his Jordan boot, Doncic had been wearing everything from Currys to Kobe Protros, and during his rookie season, Doncic lit up the Series and became something of a sneaker sensation, wearing all kinds of flashy colorways of Nike’s flagship models. He was spotted wearing Kyries, PGs, Kobes and Hyperdunks throughout his ROY campaign. Before the NBA, Doncic typically wore Nike Hyperdunk 2017 Low shoes on court in the EuroLeague.
