Andre Assous™ footwear was established in the 1970s, amidst European influence, where Andre Assous himself was inspired by the art of espadrilles. The brand started with the original espadrille sandal and grew to include a variety of styles including espadrille sneakers, flats, and wedges. Each is made with jute and continues to be handsewn by skilled craftsmen in Spain and designed in New York City. The mission of Andre Assous is to design shoes that are both comfortable and stylish, maintain craftsmanship and quality, and share their product with people across all walks of life. The Andre Assous vision is to expand their reach and warrant a diverse community of women by supporting their unique lifestyle.
