ALL EYES ON ANIMAL PRINTS

Over the past few seasons, they've gradually made their way back to the runways, to finally become one of the most coveted patterns of all time... Animal prints are back, baby!

Don't let this animal craze intimidate you, though. Such bold prints don't have to be worn from head to toe, as seen on the runways of Marni, Versace, or Dolce & Gabbana. You can take inspiration from French designer Isabel Marant, opting for just one piece of clothing, or sneak the patterns into your outfits in the form of accessories. Following Balenciaga's example, an eye-catching bag works well, or the option offered by the Zimmermann sisters, such as tights.

50 SHADES OF GREEN

Green is undoubtedly the most important color of the upcoming season. Although it was visible on the runways in many variations, the khaki shade in particular has captured the hearts of designers.

This quintessentially autumnal color dominated the collections of Ferragamo, Burberry, Gucci, and Fendi. There were plenty of interesting garment constructions that impressed with their unique details and the not-so-obvious combinations of textures. However, the shows were not lacking in eye-catching accessories, in which - we must admit - we fell in love at first sight. Our favorites were primarily the new it-bags from Loewe, as well as the phenomenal over-the-knee boots from Chemena Kamali's debut collection for the fashion house Chloé. Absolutely stunning!

THE IMMORTAL CHECK

The check pattern has made its presence known in nearly every collection this year. It reigned supreme in New York, London, Milan, and Paris, taking on the form not just of accessories, but primarily... of ultra-striking total looks.

Designers have primarily opted for a typically autumnal rendition of this print. Checks in shades of mustard, green, and brown graced the runways of Burberry, Chloé, Acne Studios, and Dries Van Noten, while Peter Do, in his collection for Helmut Lang, decided on a flawless combination of white with red and navy. However, the creations that truly captivated us were the black-and-white models by Olivier Rousteing, Shoulder bag type bucket Loewe.
