PHEONE — Warsaw artist, graffiti writer and tattoo artist. Since the late 1990s, he has represented the Warsaw-based HTP group. His work derives from a strong reference to graffiti, which can be seen in his works. Currently, the main motif of his works are monkeys, which represent the 'banana life' in the urban jungle. His illustrations are a neat commentary on the world around us. PHEONE's works shock, provoke reflection, but also bring a smile to your face.

The presented painting was created as part of the BENCH.ART project, which aims to promote local artists by organizing cyclical exhibitions in our WS2 store. Since the end of 2022, the space of our store has been handed over from time to time to artists who present their works together with us.

BENCH.ART is an initiative resulting from our passion for street art and hip-hop culture. A bench, or "bench", is a symbol of every district, city - regardless of its size. It was on the benches that we started our flow with graffiti and skateboarding, listening to rap songs by our favorite artists. The title bench is therefore a symbol that combines our love for street style, sport and art.
